LilyMax, a leading children's clothing manufacturer in Sri Lanka, is looking for an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to oversee our factory operations. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end production, ensure strict quality control for kids' wear, and manage factory floor efficiency to meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and direct the daily manufacturing operations of the garment factory.
Monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of children's clothing orders.
Maintain high quality control standards specific to children's wear safety and comfort.
Oversee and manage floor supervisors, tailors, and machine operators to maximize productivity.
Control production costs, minimize fabric wastage, and manage raw material inventory.
Troubleshoot production bottlenecks and implement efficient workflow processes.
Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly followed on the factory floor.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Production Manager or Assistant Manager in the apparel/garment sector (experience in kids' wear is a strong advantage).
Deep understanding of garment construction, pattern making, cutting, sewing, and finishing processes.
Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
Good communication skills in Sinhala.
