We are recruiting an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our fast-growing quick service restaurant in Colombo. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who can independently manage accounting functions while contributing to the success of an emerging food outlet.
# 💠 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒 :
● Prepare financial statements, reports, and management accounts. ● Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
● Handle month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
● Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
● Process payroll, staff payments, and expense claims.
● Monitor cash flow and support budgeting activities.
● Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
● Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, and internal departments when required.
● Provide financial insights and support to senior management.
# 💠 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 :
● AAT qualified (full or part qualification completed).
● Minimum 4 years of accounting experience.
● Work experience in the F&B industry will be an added advantage.
● Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. ● Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
● Strong attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.
● Good communication and teamwork abilities.
