Job Vacancy – Accountant (Female)
We are a well-established and rapidly growing company operating multiple business verticals under the Chelsey brand, including Chelsey Freshmart (retail outlets), Chelsey Freshline (daily chicken delivery service), and other related business activities. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Female Accountant to manage and oversee the financial operations of the company.
Work Location:
Thalawathugoda (Main Road – easy access from all directions)
Working Hours:
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Working Days:
Monday to Friday
Holidays on Poya Days and other bank holidays
Salary & Benefits:
• Starting salary: Rs. 75,000
• Salary potential up to Rs. 100,000, based on experience and performance
• Position will be made permanent after 6 months, subject to performance review
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for all business units
• Handle daily financial transactions, including retail and wholesale sales
• Record and reconcile daily purchases, expenses, and supplier payments
• Manage cash flow, bank transactions, and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries for management review
• Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and financial discipline across operations
Requirements:
• Female candidates only
• Proven prior experience handling high-volume daily transactions
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial record keeping
• Ability to work with accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail
• Experience in retail and wholesale environments will be a strong advantage
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel is preferred
