AC Technician

The GSH City Hotel in Colombo managed by a leading Australia-based hotel chain, GMT Hotel Holdings (Pvt) Ltd is in search of talented young individuals with the right attitude for below positions.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced AC Technician to join our maintenance team. The

ideal candidate should be responsible, technically sound, and able to work independently under

minimum supervision.

Key Responsibilities

 Install, service, repair, and maintain split type air-conditioning systems

 Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of AC units

 Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs

 Ensure all AC systems operate efficiently and safely

 Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls

 Maintain service records and report major faults to management

 Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures

 Coordinate with other maintenance staff when require

Required Skills & Qualifications

 Proven experience as an AC Technician (minimum 2 years preferred)

 Good knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressors, controls, and electrical systems

 Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams

 Experience handling refrigerants and leak detection

 Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

 Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

 Physically fit and willing to work flexible hours if required

 Relevant technical qualification or NVQ certification will be an advantage

Salary: Negotiable (based on experience)
