# 💼 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 : Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS)

# 💠 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 :

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.

- Proven experience in handling end-to-end commercial management of construction projects.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost management tools (mandatory).

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and QS software such as CostX, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or Glodon.

- Strong understanding of contracts, procurement methods and cost control techniques.

- Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.

- Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Construction Economics.

- Professional or Associate Membership in IQSSL, RICS, or AIQS is highly desirable.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.

# 💠 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐅𝐈𝐋𝐄 :

# 💠 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒 :

- Lead quantity take-offs, detailed cost estimation, and preparation/review of BOQs.

- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.

- Oversee procurement processes, including tendering, evaluation and negotiation with suppliers and subcontractors.

- Manage subcontractor agreements, valuations, and final accounts.

- Monitor project costs, identify variances, and implement cost control measures.

- Prepare and present periodic financial and commercial reports to management.

- Handle variations, claims, and dispute resolution in line with contract conditions.

- Administer contracts in accordance with standard forms (FIDIC, ICTAD, etc.)

- Lead the preparation, negotiation, and agreement of final accounts.

- Liaise with project managers, consultants, and site teams to ensure effective commercial coordination.
