Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment, with a focus on air conditioning and refrigeration systems used in ice cream production.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure minimal downtime in production.
* Conduct repairs and replacements of defective parts, prioritizing the smooth operation of equipment.
* Collaborate with other team members to implement preventive maintenance schedules, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status to facilitate proactive maintenance planning.
* Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems, ensuring proper functionality and integration with existing infrastructure.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, prioritizing the well-being of oneself and colleagues.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years of previous experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role, preferably within the food, dairy, or hospitality industries.
* NVQ Level: 3 or 4 Acceptable Trade Qualifications in the Electrical, Mechanical, or Air Conditioning Field.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
* Previous successful overseas experience is an added advantage.
* Daily travel is required for on-site customer visits and events, collaborating closely with operations team members.
Additional Requirement:
* Possession of a bike for easy mobility to perform on-site customer visits and attend events is highly preferred.
