** Job Description **
We are looking for a Call Centre Executive to handle inbound and outbound calls from Australian and Sri Lankan customers. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing shipment updates, booking assistance, and general support.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident, well-spoken, organised, and customer-focused, with experience in call centres or customer service environments.
** Key Responsibilities **
- Answer incoming calls from Australian and Sri Lankan customers
- Provide accurate information on shipments, bookings, and services
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and courteously
- Make outbound follow-up calls when required
- Coordinate with internal teams (warehouse, operations, management)
- Maintain clear call notes and basic records
- Represent the NexGen Cargo brand with professionalism at all times
** Requirements **
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a call centre or customer service role
- Fluent in English and Sinhala (mandatory)
- Tamil language skills are a strong advantage
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with Australian customers
- Comfortable working close to Australian business hours
- Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment for WFH
- Willingness to attend the Kirilawala warehouse when required
- Strong phone etiquette, patience, and problem-solving skills
** Salary & Benefits **
- LKR 50,000 – 90,000 per month, based on:
- Experience
- English fluency
- Ability to speak all three languages (English, Sinhala, Tamil)
