As we expand our operations, we are looking for a passionate Business Development Manager to lead our team in Colombo.
The Role:
As the Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our showroom operations and business growth initiatives. Your leadership will drive a team of sales professionals to ensure exceptional day-to-day operations, a stellar customer experience, and the achievement of ambitious sales targets. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that solidify Evolution Auto's position as the leading EV brand in Sri Lanka.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet monthly and annual sales targets.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to enhance the company’s market presence and revenue streams.
Brand Building: Develop initiatives to strengthen our brand and enhance our reputation in the EV market.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback.
Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and present tailored EV solutions.
Operational Excellence: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Showroom Oversight: Oversee all aspects of showroom operations and customer experience management activities.
Requirements:
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the automotive industry.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of motivating and inspiring teams.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with customers.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Sri Lankan electric vehicle landscape is preferred.
Passion for Sustainability: A genuine commitment to promoting electric mobility and sustainable practices.
Location – Colombo 10
Salary – Depends on your experience and skills – starting 120,000-150,000 LKR
