Proper wiring / grounding: Good power cable, short ground, solid connections, proper fuse. Avoid voltage drops, which can cause clipping or cutoff.
Tune crossover & gain: Set the crossover so it doesn’t overlap too much with your main speakers (which could cause muddiness). Use bass boost judiciously.
Use remote control for fine adjustment: The bass remote helps you adjust depending on load (passenger/cargo) or music type on the fly.
Check signal source: For best sound, use clean signal from head unit or amp; avoid picking up from pre‑distorted speaker outputs. Using high‑level input is fine but best if signal is clean.
