Space in the trunk or rear compartment. The BassLink is large (depth, height), so measure where you plan to mount it. If you need to tuck it under a seat or have limited trunk space, the SM2 or Mini might be more suitable.
Power wiring: A 200W RMS amplifier will need good power wiring from battery, sufficient fuse, proper grounding. If that gets done poorly, performance suffers, or could damage equipment/electrical system.
Sound system interface: If your car’s head unit has line‑outputs (RCA), that’s ideal. If not, some units accept speaker‑level inputs. Make sure the model you select supports the kind of input you have.

Vibration / installation: Because the sub produces low‑frequencies, make sure mounting is secure, vibration dampened, to avoid rattles in car body-panels etc.
Budget vs performance: If you want just a little bump vs your stock system, maybe a smaller unit suffices. If you want more “feel” in bass, then go for the full 10" BassLink.
