Web Designer

Description:

We are looking for a skilled and trustworthy Web Designer to join our international digital team.

This is a hybrid position – you can work remotely most of the time, but must be available for online meetings and occasional visits to our office or partner locations in Sri Lanka.

We develop and manage a large portfolio of international websites, mainly for Norwegian and European clients. Therefore, we are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, creativity, and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain professional websites using WordPress

• Customize themes and plugins with clean design and fast performance

• Implement SEO best practices and optimize sites for speed and ranking

• Manage domains, hosting, and backups (basic technical knowledge required)

• Use AI tools (such as ChatGPT or Midjourney) to improve workflow and productivity

• Work closely with management on multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements:

• Proven experience in WordPress web design (minimum 2 years preferred)

• Strong understanding of SEO and responsive design

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic graphic editing

• Reliable internet connection and professional communication

• Must be able to show a portfolio of previous work (mandatory)

Bonus skills:

• Experience with WooCommerce or online booking systems

• Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop, or Figma

• Interest in AI, automation, or content creation tools
