Margarita Kite school is the leading kitesurfing school in Kalpitiya. We work in an international environment, catering to guests from all over the world, and are currently seeking a chef capable of preparing both local and international cuisine.

Main tasks:

The main tasks for the chef position include:

* Planning menus

* Ensuring food quality and taste is of the highest standard

* Managing inventory of stock and placing orders

* Controlling budgets and minimizing wastage

* Maintaining health and hygiene in the kitchen

* Informing wait staff about daily specials.

* Ensuring appealing plate presentation.

* Slightly modifying recipes to meet customers' needs and requests, such as reducing salt or removing dairy.

* Checking the freshness of food and discarding out-of-date items.

* Experimenting with recipes and suggesting new ingredients.

* Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.

Minimum required:

* Good english level

* 1 years experience

* Friendly and outgoing person, capable of working in a team

* Puttalam area
