Vacancies exist for the role of a Technical Officer – Factory Operations. The selected candidate will be based at the factory located in Makuluduwa Piliyandala.
Job Role:
• Supervision of the total factory processors, including goods receiving, measuring, quality checking and documentation.
• Be familiar with Production Planning techniques (Daily/Monthly production plan)
• Coordinate material, labour and utility requirements for production
• Manage Floor Supervision which would include, labour administration and allocation, maintaining hygienic conditions within the plant (plant CIP, housekeeping, personnel hygiene, pest control) and supervision of the cleaning staff
• Be responsible for Batch/Employee management
• Manage Quality Management systems and Prepare production statements and documents on Employee administration
• Co-ordinate maintenance work with technical staff and repairs of machinery.
• Supervise work done on extended shifts (night allowances, transport and meals)
The ideal candidate should possess:
• HND, German Tech, Technical college or equivalent will be considered favourably
• However, applicants with Advance Level (A/L) with preferably Mathematics or Science subjects may apply.
• Previous work experience preferred, however, those without experience may apply
