E-commerce Assisted Manager - Operations and Sales (essentials.lk)
essentials.lk Sri Lankas leading online beauty and cosmetics platform is looking for an energetic and experienced Assitant manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and business and the opportunity to work with brand managers and suppliers in UK, Australia and the US. The role is responsible for managing daily sales and operations, work with local and international brand suppliers, formulating partnerships to drive growth for the website while providing support to the in house E-commerce team. She/ he must also manage the merchandising, campaign planning, and sales initiatives for the website.
Key Responsibilities
Develop e-commerce sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
Work closely with the digital agency to Implement ongoing campaigns and utilize analytics to track sales trends and identify opportunities for growth.
Derive strategies and action plan to increase traffic, acquire new customers, increase conversion rate and optimize sales.
Analyses past sales, identify trends, determine fast and slow-moving inventory, and identify sources for converting & non-converting traffic.
Day-to-day management of e-commerce sites’ operation and in house team (content/promotions/products/team).
Driving visibility and growth through social media, influences, digital campaigns and partnerships.
Assist customer service team and accounts to provide prompt assistance, and to respond and report relevant issues to higher management.
Work closely with all team and the Directors to ensure smooth operation of online store, including order fulfilment and logistics arrangement.
Applicant Profile
Minimum 2 years and above working experience in an online/e-commerce business for skincare/beauty/lifestyle industry. MUST have hands on experience in e-commerce business operation and sales.
Good understanding on ecommerce operations, digital campaigns, market trends, brands and online marketplace.
Strong adaptability, able to work independently with minimal supervision under time pressure and handle any ad-hoc tasks.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, written, and verbal skills
Skill required: knowledge of digital campaigns, Facebook advertising, Shopify and partnerships.
Ability to manage a small in house team and implement a strategic plan which will meet KPIs and growth plans.
