We are a well-established spice manufacturing and processing factory based in Kaduwela, Sri Lanka, specializing in the processing, value addition, and export of high-quality Sri Lankan spices to international markets, while also catering to the local market. Our operations include factory processing, quality control, certifications, and export logistics, making us a fully integrated spice export house.
As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a capable and creative Social Media Manager to professionally represent our brand, factory operations, products, and export presence across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, create, and manage content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
Develop and execute monthly content calendars aligned with brand positioning, exports, and sales objectives
Create engaging posts, reels, captions, and short-form videos highlighting:
Spice products and packaging
Factory processes and quality standards
Export activities, certifications, and international presence
Manage messages, inquiries, and comments in a timely and professional manner
Coordinate with management, factory staff, and marketing teams for content planning
Monitor performance metrics (reach, engagement, leads) and submit regular reports
Support digital marketing campaigns, promotions, and new product launches
Requirements
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics
Ability to create basic visual content (photo/video) and edit using tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe
Good communication skills in English (Sinhala and/or Tamil is an advantage)
Ability to work independently and manage social media operations end-to-end
Prior experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, or export-related industries will be a strong advantage
