We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for accounting, FMCG, and are excited about working with a rapidly expanding company in the spice manufacturing industry, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Costing & Financial Reporting: Manage and oversee the costing process for all products, ensuring accurate and up-to-date cost structures for our spice manufacturing operations.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and any discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Day-to-Day Accounting Operations: Handle daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and month-end closing activities.
• Credit Control: Oversee and manage credit control functions, ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables and minimizing overdue balances.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare financial reports, analyze financial data, and provide insights to senior management for decision-making and strategic planning.
• FMCG Industry Knowledge: Apply in-depth knowledge of the FMCG sector to ensure that accounting and financial practices align with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
• CIMA Qualification (or equivalent professional accounting qualification)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing sectors
• Strong knowledge of costing, bank reconciliation, day-to-day accounting operations, and credit control
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
