Receptionist
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests with a positive attitude and provide outstanding customer service.
Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
Handle reservations, cancellations, and inquiries, both in person and over the phone.
Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Assist guests with special requests and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
Maintain a neat and organized front desk area.
Process payments and manage cash transactions securely.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure room readiness and address guest needs.
Keep accurate records of guest stays, reservations, and transactions.
Uphold East Lagoon Hotel’s standards of service and professionalism.
Qualifications:
GCE Advanced Level or equivalent educational qualification.
Excellent communication skills in English, with a basic understanding of Sinhala.
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred, especially in the hospitality industry, but not required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
A friendly, approachable, and team-oriented attitude.
