Purchasing Assistant

Leading hardware items distribution company situated in Makola, Kiribathgoda is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Assistant to manage our processes and support various Purchasing functions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Developing and implementing sourcing strategies for assigned categories.

* Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers.

* Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.

* Procurement Process Management:

*Cost Management

* Communication

* Record Keeping & Reporting.

Qualifications:

 *Reading Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.

 *experience in procurement management added advantage

 *Strong negotiation and communication skills.

 *Knowledge of Hardware Procurement field added advantage.

 *Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

 *Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.

 *Ability to thrive under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.

 candidates aged between 21-50 years are preferred.
