Production Supervisor job role:
A production supervisor is a job responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of a manufacturing process. They have the responsibility of managing the production team, monitoring productivity and quality, and providing guidance and instructions to ensure that all production goals are met.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage a team of production employees
· Ensure that production goals are met in a timely, accurate, and safe manner
· Monitor production processes and ensure quality control standards are upheld
· Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews
· Assist with training on new processes and procedures
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations
· Monitor and maintain inventory levels
Qualifications:
Education & Experience :
Diploma in food technology with minimum one year experience in the field of food industry.
Training :
Training received in Quality systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, Quality Assurance of Food Industry and HACCP.
Skills :
Proficient in Computer packages / The ability to multitask / Outstanding time management skills / Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills / leadership skills / Effective communication skills.
