Payroll Executive
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including salary calculations, overtime payments, bonuses, statutory deductions, EPF, and ETF contributions.
• Ensure payroll activities comply with all applicable employment laws, labor regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records, including salary revisions, leave balances, allowances, and benefits.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related inquiries, discrepancies, deductions, and payments.
• Process final settlements, payroll adjustments, and clearance documentation for departing employees.
• Generate payroll reports and support internal and external audits as required.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of employee payroll information at all times.
Core Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in payroll administration, preferably managing complex payroll cycles.
• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan payroll regulations, including EPF, ETF, taxation, and labor laws.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with payroll systems or HRIS platforms.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential employee information.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
