POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician conducts laboratory tests essential for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases, utilizing advanced equipment and collaborating with healthcare professionals for accurate and timely results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct routine and specialized lab tests on patient samples.

• Analyze and ensure accuracy of test results.

• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.

• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean workspace.

• Document and report results promptly.

• Collaborate with healthcare staff to discuss findings and make

recommendations.

• Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in lab

techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Laboratory

Sciences, or related field. SLMC Certification as Medical Laboratory

Scientist (MLS) or Technician (MLT) preferred.

• Recent graduates and applicants with pending registration are

encouraged to apply.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work on a Shift Basis.
