Key Responsibilities:
Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Participate in the negotiation of contracts and terms with vendors.
Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
Support the procurement team in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement objectives with company goals.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in demand forecasting to ensure timely procurement.
Conduct research on new suppliers and products to enhance procurement processes.
Prepare reports and presentations for management on procurement metrics and KPIs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with procurement software is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the procurement field.
