MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and skilled individual to maintain our facilities and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for our patients and staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out routine building maintenance and repairs.
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting work.
- Maintain lighting, doors, windows, locks, furniture and fixtures.
- Assist in preventive maintenance of medical and non-medical equipment.
- Monitor and report maintenance requirements.
- Maintain gardens and outdoor areas when required.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of maintenance tools and work areas.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Assist with moving furniture and equipment when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in building maintenance, handyman services or a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and carpentry work.
- Physically fit and willing to perform manual tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Honest, responsible and punctual.
- A valid driving licence will be an added advantage.
