The candidates’ responsibilities will be as follows, but not limited to;
• Assist machinist and operators in daily production activities.
• Help set up, operate, and dismantle machinery such as lathe, milling, and other basic machines under the guidance of a machinist.
• Prepare raw materials and tools required for operations.
• Perform routine maintenance — cleaning, lubricating, and minor adjustments to machines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety standards.
• Conduct basic quality checks, identify defective materials or irregularities, and report issues to supervisors.
Candidates’ Essential Criteria;
• G.C.E. O/L or equivalent qualification.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical or machining operations will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn and support skilled machinists.
