We are looking for an active, trustworthy, and practical Company Driver & Office Maintenance Specialist for our gem and jewelry facility in Colombo-04. This dual role requires a reliable driver to handle secure transit alongside a handy individual capable of maintaining the showroom and office premises in immaculate, fully functional condition. Secure Transport & DrivingVIP & Client Transport:
- Provide professional, safe, and smooth transport for corporate directors, international gem buyers, and VIP guests.
- Valuable Consignment Delivery: Securely transport high-value gemstone parcels, jewelry collections, and secure banking documents to customs, banks, and the National Gem and Jewellery Authority (NGJA).
- Outstation Trips: Drive to outstation gem-mining regions (like Ratnapura) or handle airport transfers as requested.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding travel routes, client identities, and the high-value cargo inside the vehicle.
Office & Showroom Maintenance Facility Inspections:
- Walk through the office and showroom daily to check for broken lights, plumbing leaks, AC issues, or damaged fixtures.
- Handyman Repairs: Perform minor, immediate repairs on-site, including changing light bulbs, fixing door locks, handling basic plumbing clogs, or touching up paint.
- Vendor Coordination: Supervise external technicians (AC repair crews, electricians, painters) during major maintenance work to ensure safety around valuable stock.
- Showroom Presentation: Ensure the luxury showroom's lighting, display cases, and customer areas are perfectly clean, bright, and operational before opening hours.
