We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Steward to join our kitchen operations team. This is an essential role that ensures the cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth functioning of our kitchen and service areas.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
Wash pots, pans, dishes, trays, and other kitchen items efficiently
Assist with receiving and storing goods
Ensure proper waste disposal and general cleanliness
Keep floors, counters, and wash areas clean and sanitised at all times
Support chefs and kitchen staff as needed during busy periods
Follow hygiene and safety standards (HACCP, food safety guidelines)
Requirements
Previous experience as a kitchen steward is an advantage but not essential
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Physically fit and able to handle kitchen equipment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Team player with discipline and reliability
Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, or extra shifts as required
