The Seascape Hotel, a beautiful beachfront hotel in Matara, is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our enthusiastic team!
This position is central to ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout their stay.
Key Requirements and Qualifications:
* Experience: Previous experience in a housekeeping or room attendant role, preferably within the hotel industry, is highly advantageous.
* Attention to Detail: An eye for detail is essential to maintain our standards of cleanliness and presentation in all guest areas.
* Language Skills: Basic to good proficiency in the English language is required to communicate effectively with supervisors and courteously interact with international guests.
* Residency: Candidates currently residing near Matara will be given preference.
The Housekeeper will be responsible for creating a flawless experience for our guests by:
* Cleaning and preparing guest rooms and suites, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and ensuring every fixture is immaculate.
* cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and replenishing towels, toiletries, and guest amenities to standard.
* Cleaning corridors and common guest areas as assigned.
* Reporting any maintenance issues, damage, or lost-and-found items immediately to the supervisor.
