Hostel Manager
Location: Colombo 3
Position: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
1. Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the hostel.
2. Guest Management: Handle reservations, check-ins, and check-outs while providing excellent customer service.
3. Team Supervision: Manage housekeeping staff and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
4. Maintenance Oversight: Ensure the property is clean, well-maintained, and complies with safety standards.
5. Inventory Management: Track and replenish supplies as needed.
6. Financial Management: Maintain records of bookings, payments, and expenses.
7. Marketing Support: Assist in promoting the hostel online and managing social media updates.
8. Conflict Resolution: Address guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Previous experience in hospitality or management is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, English Proficiency and organizational skills is a must.
• Proficient in basic computer software (e.g., MS Office, booking platforms).
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as required.
• Should be trustworthy and be able to handle responsibilities.
