Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and financial reporting, along with advanced Excel skills and data visualization expertise. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of analysing complex financial data to drive business decisions and improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis: Utilize accounting concepts to prepare and analyze financial statements, identifying key trends and insights to support decision-making.

Advanced Excel Proficiency: Develop and manage complex financial models using advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros (VBA) to automate reporting processes and enhance data accuracy.

Data Visualization: Create compelling dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to present financial data in an accessible format for stakeholders.

Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement, translating findings into actionable recommendations.

Problem Solving: Employ critical thinking and analytical skills to address complex business challenges, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in all analyses.

Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports and presentations that clearly communicate insights and recommendations to management.

Qualifications:

1 year experience in financial analysis and reporting.

Advanced proficiency in Excel, Pivot, spreadsheet, including VBA and complex data manipulation.

Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is highly desirable.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a focus on problem-solving.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly.

Advanced Excel Proficiency

Mastery of complex formulas, pivot tables, data visualization, and macros (VBA).

Data Visualization and Reporting

Proficiency in creating clear, insightful reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.

Data Analysis and Interpretation

Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

Problem-solving and Critical Thinking

Skill in using data to solve complex business problems and ensuring data accuracy.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary 50,000-70,000 LKR

Working Days: Monday to Saturday
