Documentation officers for Pre-Qualification & ISO 9001 process

We are looking for experienced Documentation officers for PRE-Qualification of foreign manufactures & suppliers, maintaining and improving ISO 9001 TQM etc

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

1. To apply, review, update and establish prequalification requirements, guidelines, procedures and related quality assurance systems for the assessment of quality based on standards and guidelines and other existing regulatory guidance documents when appropriate.

2. To plan, manage and coordinate inspection-related activities of the prequalification process with the aim of carrying out necessary inspections within the shortest possible timelines, and to formalize and finalize inspection reports and communications to interested and participating manufacturers and suppliers.

3. To be in contact with National Water Supply & Drainage Board and other Authorities/Inspectorates in order to compose teams for the inspections.

4. To ensure consistency of inspections carried out in accordance with the ISO 9001/5S established norms and standards and internal standard operating procedures of the Prequalification Team.

5. To contribute to the improvement of the Prequalification Team in general, for the overall coordination and timeliness of documentation related activities and proper record keeping.

6. To undertake research of relevant prequalification/tendering team information, preparing reports and presenting information, data and results, including training materials in the areas of work and competence.

OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES AND RELATED DOCUMENTATION:

1. To review, update and maintain a documented quality system for the Prequalification Team and apply for approvals with coordination with relevant parties.

2. To liaise with Prequalification Team partners and stakeholders.

3. To liaise with other staff members from relevant units for the development, implementation and review of guidelines related to tendering activities, norms and standards.

RELATED ACTIVITIES:

1. To work in cooperation with the Team's Professional and General Service Staff.

2. To participate, in cooperation with other Professional Staff, in other activities related to safety, efficacy and quality, mainly by participating in relevant meetings and giving professional advice.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Essential: University degree, plus an Advanced level university degree in a related field or a recognized national certification with related professional experience are essential.

Desirable: Past Experience in Pre-Qualification process

Experience

Essential:

• A minimum of 5 years' working experience as a documentation officer

• Experience in auditing quality systems.

• Demonstrated experience in an international context.

REMUNERATION

ALLIED salaries for staff in the Professional category are calculated in monthly basis. The remuneration for the above position comprises monthly salary with allowances & incentives starting at Rs. 90,000/= to Rs.120’000/= (subject to mandatory deductions for EPF/ETF contributions and health insurance, as applicable).
