📝 Key Responsibilities
🔥 Commi II - Hot Kitchen
✔️ Prepare and cook food according to recipes, specifications, and quality standards
✔️ Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and food production
✔️ Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of dishes
✔️ Support catering and banquet food preparation requirements
✔️ Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards
🥗 Commi II - Cold Kitchen
✔️ Prepare salads, sandwiches, canapés, appetizers, and buffet items
✔️ Ensure food freshness, quality, and attractive presentation
✔️ Assist in cold buffet and catering event preparations
✔️ Follow proper food storage and handling procedures
🍰 Commi II - Pastry
✔️ Prepare cakes, desserts, pastries, bakery products, and sweet items
✔️ Assist in decorating and finishing pastry products
✔️ Ensure consistency in recipes and presentation standards
✔️ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section
📋 Requirements
✔️ Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the relevant kitchen section
✔️ Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, bakery, or catering operation is essential
✔️ Good understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
✔️ Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
✔️ Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
✔️ Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
✔️ Experience handling high-volume food production will be an advantage

🍽️ Experience in outdoor catering and banquet operations
🌍 Exposure to Sri Lankan and International cuisine
🎓 Professional culinary qualifications or pastry certifications
