📝 Key Responsibilities
🔥 Commi I – Hot Kitchen
✔️ Prepare and cook hot dishes according to recipes and quality standards
✔️ Assist in bulk food production for restaurant and catering operations
✔️ Ensure consistency in taste, portion control, and presentation
✔️ Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned kitchen section
🥗 Commi I – Cold Kitchen
✔️ Prepare salads, sandwiches, appetizers, and cold buffet items
✔️ Ensure attractive presentation and freshness of all food items
✔️ Maintain proper storage and handling of ingredients
✔️ Support buffet and catering food preparation requirements
🍰 Commi I – Pastry
✔️ Prepare cakes, desserts, pastries, and bakery items according to recipes
✔️ Assist in decorating and finishing pastry products
✔️ Maintain consistency in quality and presentation standards
✔️ Ensure proper storage and handling of bakery and pastry ingredients
📋 Requirements
✔️ Minimum 2–4 years of experience in the relevant kitchen section
✔️ Experience in a hotel, restaurant, bakery, or catering operation is essential
✔️ Good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
✔️ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
✔️ Strong commitment to food quality, hygiene, and safety standards
✔️ Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
⭐ Additional Advantages
🍽️ Experience in large-scale catering operations
🌍 Knowledge of Sri Lankan and International cuisine
🎓 Professional culinary qualifications or pastry certifications
