Overview:
The Café Manager is responsible for the overall daily operations of both cafés, ensuring consistent quality, smooth coordination between branches, staff discipline, cost control, and excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management
• Supervise both café branches and ensure smooth day-to-day running.
• Maintain cleanliness, food quality, and presentation standards.
• Monitor stock levels, minimize wastage, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
• Check daily opening and closing procedures at both cafés.
• Handle maintenance issues and coordinate repairs when necessary.
2. Staff Management
• Supervise baristas, chefs, kitchen helpers, and service staff.
• Prepare staff duty rosters and arrange replacements when needed.
• Conduct training sessions on customer service, hygiene, and new menu items.
• Maintain staff discipline, attendance, and accommodation rules.
• Report staff performance, attitude, and punctuality weekly to the owner.
3. Customer Service
• Ensure friendly and efficient service at all times.
• Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally.
• Encourage feedback and build strong relationships with regular customers.
4. Financial & Inventory Control
• Record daily sales and expenses for both cafés.
• Monitor food and beverage costs, and suggest menu adjustments if needed.
• Verify supplier deliveries and cross-check invoices.
• Prepare weekly reports on sales, profit, and inventory.
5. Marketing & Promotion Support
• Work with the owner on monthly promotions and cross-brand campaigns.
• Support social media content by ensuring staff capture photos/videos as planned.
• Maintain attractive product displays and ensure new menu items are promoted actively.
6. Leadership & Communication
• Ensure both cafés operate under the same standards and brand image.
• Coordinate communication between kitchen, barista, and front teams.
• Be proactive in solving operational challenges without delay.
• Provide improvement ideas and updates to the owner regularly.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a café, restaurant, or hospitality business.
• Strong leadership, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English (Sinhala is a plus).
