Business Development Officer - Female (Import Export Live Fish)
OCEAN DREAMS AQUATIC is a reputed company engaged in tropical live fish export to the global market since 2015 having a vacancy for an immediate appointment. We are looking for energetic & highly motivated professionals with pleasing personalities to join our team.
Qualifications & Experience:
• 3-year experience in sales, marketing and customer relationship management
• Bachelor’s degree in business or Professional qualification in CIM/SLIM fully in sales or marketing advantage. (Fully qualifications in NDSM or PGDIP from SLIM would be an added advantage)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills emphasizing interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills in both Sinhala and English. (Excellent communication skills in British & American-decent English)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and Social Media Networks.
• Customer orientation Knowledge about budget management & international trade and taxation ability to easily comprehend and organise shipment processes.
• Age preferably below 35.
• Preference will be given to candidates around Matara (Walgama, Nupe, Kaburugamuwa, Weligama)
• Ability to work under pressure & good teamwork environment.
Responsibilities:
• Ability to plan and execute marketing strategies to active overall sales targets
• Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
• Communicate directly with foreign clients and encourage trusting relationships.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers.
• Updating social media accounts.
• Preparation & follow up export & import related documentation.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and other third parties to ensure timely and accurate import-export process and paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws & regulations related to import–export.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Sri Lankan and foreign governments, customs, authorities and other relevant organizations.
• Monitor & analyze import-export data to identify compliance issues and take corrective actions.
• Work with the operations Management to determine company vision, mission, values & plan for short & long-term goals.
