Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives for a well-established spices exporting and processing factory. This role requires a commercially astute professional capable of identifying operational weaknesses, improving efficiencies, and driving sustainable profitability across local and international markets.
The successful candidate will be entrusted with significant autonomy and decision-making authority, operating the business with an ownership mindset.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities across operations, exports, and supply chains
• Develop and execute strategies to maximize margins and overall business profitability
• Oversee and optimize production, procurement, and export operations
• Expand and manage local and international buyer networks
• Analyze market trends, pricing structures, and competitor activity
• Coordinate with quality, compliance, and certification teams (ISO, HACCP, GMP, Organic, etc.)
• Lead cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Prepare and review performance reports, forecasts, and strategic plans
Candidate Requirements
Age: 30 – 40 years
Education: Degree in Food Science or a closely related discipline
Experience:
• Proven management experience in the spices, food processing, FMCG, or export-oriented manufacturing sector
• Strong understanding of export markets, value-added food products, and cost structures
• Demonstrated ability to identify weaknesses and convert them into profitable opportunities
• Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach
