Key Responsibilities:
Install, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on operating theatre equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair surgical and diagnostic equipment as needed.
Conduct regular inspections and performance testing to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Document all maintenance, repairs, and inspections for audit purposes.
Train healthcare staff on proper equipment usage and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum NVQ Level 4 / HND in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Proven experience with operation theatre equipment is required, with a focus on troubleshooting, maintenance, and compliance with healthcare standards.
