Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor based in Colombo.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for assisting with cost planning, preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), overseeing cost control measures, and preparing thorough cost reports.

The role involves ensuring accurate cost estimation, budget management, and supporting project decision-making processes.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Cost Control and Cost Management

Experience in preparing and analyzing BOQs

Proficiency in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting

Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and numerical skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and other stakeholders

Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field

Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Office, specialized cost management tools) is advantageous

Knowledge of construction industry standards and practices is preferred
