We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and be capable of maintaining accurate financial records.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain daily accounting entries and proper documentation
• Prepare invoices, GRNs, payment vouchers & receipts
• Handle petty cash and carry out daily cash reconciliation
• Assist in monthly stock checks and bank reconciliations
• Support senior accountants with monthly/annual reports
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers regarding payments
• Organize and file all financial documents correctly
• Basic knowledge of VAT documentation & procedures
🔹 Qualifications:
• G.C.E. O/L with A or B pass in Mathematics (Compulsory)
• A/L Commerce stream pass (Compulsory)
• Knowledge of VAT documentation
• AAT completed or following (added advantage)
• Good computer literacy (MS Excel & Word)
• Familiarity with accounting software
• Strong numerical accuracy and ability to meet deadlines
• Teamwork and good communication skills
