Airticka is Sri Lanka's WhatsApp-native AI travel platform. We're opening 10 places on a six-month remote internship for people who want a real career in travel and tourism — not a certificate that sits in a drawer.
You'll be trained by a travel professional with 27 years in the industry and an IATA Advanced Fares & Ticketing qualification, working on live bookings and real customers from day one.
What you'll learn
Airline fares, ticketing and reservation fundamentals
Handling real customer enquiries end to end — transfers, hotels, tours
Destination knowledge across our inbound and outbound markets
Working inside a modern travel tech stack: WhatsApp-based booking, AI-assisted service
Professional communication with travellers and overseas partners
Who it's for
School leavers and graduates who are serious about travel and tourism. No prior experience needed. You need a smartphone or laptop, reliable internet, and the discipline to work remotely without someone standing over you. English is essential; Sinhala or Tamil is an advantage.
The terms
Six months, fully remote
LKR 21,000 per month from Month 2 onward (Month 1 is intensive training)
Certificate of completion, and the strongest performers are considered for permanent roles
