VACANCY: TECHNICAL OFFICER – CONSTRUCTION
Location: Colombo 11 (Pettah)
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Officer to join our construction and property development team. The ideal candidate will assist in site execution, quality control, technical coordination, and project documentation to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in supervising day-to-day site activities.
* Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
* Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants.
* Take site measurements and maintain technical records and reports.
* Monitor construction quality, material usage, and work progress.
* Assist in inspections, quantity verification, and project documentation.
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Support the project team in achieving construction targets.
Requirements:
* Diploma or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the building construction industry.
* Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
* Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is an added advantage.
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
