STORE KEEPER
- (Cooking Items & Consumables)
About the Role
Responsible for the effective management of cooking items and consumables inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels, proper storage, accurate record keeping, and timely distribution to support daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify cooking items and consumables from suppliers.
- Maintain accurate stock records (inward, outward, and balance).
- Ensure proper storage and preservation of all food items and consumables.
- Monitor stock levels and prepare purchase requisitions when required.
- Issue items to the kitchen and other departments as per approved requisitions.
- Check expiry dates and follow the FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory method.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and assist in monthly inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- G.C.E. O/L or A/L.
- Previous experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in a healthcare, hospital, hotel, or catering environment.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and stock management.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Honest, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Basic computer knowledge is an advantage.

Salary
LKR 45,000 – 60,000 (Based on qualifications and experience)
