SPRAY PAINTER / ස්ප්රේ පේන්ටර්

Key Responsibilities | ප්රධාන වගකීම්
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming various materials including metal, aluminum, acrylic, wood, and composite panels.
• Apply paint, primers, clear coats, and protective finishes using spray-painting equipment.
• Ensure high-quality finishes that meet project specifications and company standards.
• Mix paints and coatings to achieve the required colors, textures, and finishes.
• Inspect completed work and perform touch-ups when necessary.
• Maintain spray guns, compressors, paint booths, and other painting equipment.
• Follow safety procedures when handling paints, solvents, thinners, and other coating materials.
• Coordinate with fabrication and production teams to meet project deadlines.
Requirements | සුදුසුකම්
• NVQ, Technical College qualification, or equivalent experience in Spray Painting, Automotive Painting, Industrial Painting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Spray Painter.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, paint mixing, coating systems, and finishing techniques.
• Experience working with metal, aluminum, acrylic, and other materials used in signage production.
• Ability to achieve smooth, consistent, and high-quality finishes.
• Knowledge of painting safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
