The Role
In the logistics industry, speed and precision are everything. We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented and self-motivated Senior Accounts Executive to steer our financial operations with minimum guidance. You won't just be "crunching numbers"; you’ll be ensuring the financial backbone of our organization remains robust, transparent, and efficient.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with a focus on high-volume transaction reconciliation.
Cash Flow Management: Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), ensuring our fleet stays moving and our vendors are happy, with the support of the Credit Control team.
Audit & Compliance: Lead/support internal and external audit processes and ensure strictly adhered-to tax compliance.
Cost Analysis: Monitor operational costs (fuel, maintenance, third-party suppliers etc...) and identify opportunities for "leaner" financial performance.
What We’re Looking For:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Full or Partial Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Exposure: Minimum of 4–6 years in accounting, preferably within Logistics, Courier Services, or Supply Chain.
Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Excel (macros and VLOOKUPs are your best friends) and experience with ERP software like SAP, Oracle, or Tally.
The Mindset: You understand that in this industry, a delay in billing can mean a delay in the total process. You thrive in fast-paced environments.
