Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive with strong knowledge of seafood products and experience selling to the hospitality sector, including hotels, restaurants, bars, pubs, and catering businesses. This role involves client relationship management, field sales, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote and sell seafood products to hotels, restaurants, bars, pubs, and hospitality clients
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
* Visit clients regularly to present products, take orders, and negotiate pricing
* Travel to the southern regions of Sri Lanka for client meetings and business development
* Gather customer requirements, obtain quotations, and follow up on orders
* Coordinate with internal teams on pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
* Assist in expanding the company’s hospitality customer base
Minimum Qualifications
* G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) qualification (minimum)
* Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in seafood sales, FMCG sales, or hospitality supply sales
* Background working with hotels, restaurants, bars, or catering businesses
* Higher education in sales, marketing, hospitality management, or a related field
* Strong understanding of seafood products, cuts, grades, and handling
* Existing network within the hospitality industry is a strong advantage
