Sales Assistant

We’re an retail business in Colombo seeking an energetic Sales Assistant to join our team. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love building customer relationships, and have a knack for closing sales, we are looking for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly, understand their needs, and provide personalized product recommendations.

• Drive sales through upselling, cross-selling, and promoting daily specials or promotions.

• Maintain a tidy, visually appealing store by restocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring merchandise quality.

• Assist with inventory checks, receive shipments, and report stock levels to management.

• Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and contribute to store events or campaigns.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of retail or customer service experience (entry-level candidates with strong enthusiasm welcome).

• Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil a plus).

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20kg.

• Positive attitude, team player, and target-driven mindset.
