Aasife Biriyani is excited to announce the opening of our newest branch, and we are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure outstanding customer service and operational excellence.
Requirements
* Age 35 years or above
* Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager (experience is mandatory)
* Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office, POS systems, reporting, and email)
* Sound knowledge of food cost control, inventory management, and stock handling
* Excellent team leadership and people management skills
* Strong communication skills in Tamil, English, and Sinhala
* Ability to work under pressure and manage a fast-paced restaurant environment
* Honest, responsible, and results-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the restaurant’s day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
* Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate restaurant staff.
* Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and customer service.
* Monitor food costs, control wastage, and ensure profitability targets are achieved.
* Manage inventory, purchasing, stock levels, and supplier coordination.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
* Ensure accurate cash handling, sales reconciliation, and compliance with company procedures.
* Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
* Monitor staff attendance, scheduling, and overall performance.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
* Work closely with the management team to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
* Drive team performance while creating a positive and productive work environment.
