VACANCY: PROJECT MANAGER – CONSTRUCTION
Location: Colombo 11 (Pettah)
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial construction and property development projects from planning through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
* Lead site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and project teams.
* Monitor project progress, budgets, quality, and schedules.
* Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and suppliers.
* Ensure compliance with contract specifications, drawings, and safety regulations.
* Review project costs, procurement, and resource allocation.
* Prepare progress reports and conduct regular project review meetings.
* Identify project risks and implement effective solutions.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in managing building construction projects.
* Strong knowledge of project planning, construction methods, contracts, and cost control.
* Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
