Project Engineer

Main duties & responsibilities:

• To undertake the installation and commissioning of elevators and escalators and coordinate with sales team.

• Design and propose suitable solutions for elevator and escalator requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Shall be totally responsible and accountable for all activities involved in design selection, installation and commissioning of elevators and escalators.

• Designing solutions, preparing offers and maintaining records of technical information.

• Visiting sites and identifying project requirements.

• Obtain quotations from sub-contractors/ local suppliers as required and prepare offers/ quotations, tenders etc.

• Preparation of drawings and project programs to coordinate with all relevant contractors/client/architect/consultant.

• Attend site meetings and project programming.

• Supervise sub-contractors and subordinates and adhere to all company safety and compliance

• Regulations.

• Understand and execute works in most efficient way within agreed time period and budget.

• To display and maintain high standard of honesty and ethical practices

• To develop, maintain and improve customer relations, goodwill and company reputation while Ensuring company values are upheld at all times.

Requirements:

• Education: Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

• Experience: 3 to 5 years in Elevator and installation and maintenance.

• Language: Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Proficiency in market analysis, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• A results-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure.

• Creative, dynamic, and proactive approach.

• Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and Auto Cad.
