Location: Nugegoda, Sri Lanka
We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Imports & Procurement Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will take charge of our sourcing and importation processes, ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and execute the end-to-end import and Local process, from placing orders to final warehousing.
Liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and relevant regulatory authorities.
Prepare, review, and process all import documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Negotiate pricing, shipping terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Maintain accurate procurement records, track shipments, and resolve any supply chain delays.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in imports and procurement.
In-depth knowledge of import procedures, documentation, and international trade terms (Incoterms, LCs, TTs, Customs regulations, etc.).
Well-versed in basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & Ideally to operate on an ERP Computer Software).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Location: Candidates must be living in and around the Nugegoda area.
Working Hours & Conditions:
Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Saturdays: 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Holidays: All Mercantile and Poya days are observed as holidays.
