The Role
We are looking for a Procurement Coordinator to support our procurement and supplier communication process. This role does not require an engineering or technical background — what matters most is good written English, strong organisational skills, and genuine reliability.
You will be responsible for communicating with suppliers, following up on orders and quotations, and keeping procurement records accurate and up to date. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and support the smooth flow of materials needed for production.
What You Will Do
• Send Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to suppliers using prepared templates and information provided by the team
• Follow up with local and international suppliers on pending quotations, order confirmations, and delivery timelines
• Maintain accurate procurement records — purchase orders, supplier correspondence, and quotation comparisons
• Track shipments and update the team on delivery status and any delays
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager on procurement priorities and urgent requirements
• Maintain organised digital records of supplier communications and procurement documentation
• Support general administrative tasks related to procurement and supplier management
What We Are Looking For
• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field — no engineering background required
• Good written and spoken English — you will be communicating directly with suppliers, including international contacts
• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability — you follow through on tasks without needing to be reminded
• Well organised, with good attention to detail in maintaining records and tracking follow-ups
• Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and basic office software
• Reliable and punctual, with a genuine commitment to the role
• Prior experience in an administrative, coordination, or customer service role is an advantage, but not essential

• Salary: LKR 45,000–60,000/month based on experience

Location
Our facility is in Midigama, Weligama, Southern Province. This is a full-time, on-site role. Candidates based in the Galle–Matara corridor are strongly preferred, given the working hours of this role.
